EXTENSION AND LOFT CONVERSION IN WATFORD

Romeo and his team have completed a large single storey extension and loft conversion today! I am incredibly pleased with the job they have completed. The finish is to an extremely high standard.
The job involved removing a large bank of earth, building a retaining wall, knocking through, installing a steel beam and bricking up a window. Once this was completed the building team installed roof lights and a bi-fold door. Romeo’s next team then arrived, the internal specialists! They installed a new kitchen, laid all floors, both wooden and tiles, painted the walls including a large hallway amongst other things. The guys Romeo uses for electrics and plumbing were on site when required to complete their elements of the build.
I can not compliment Romeo’s team enough. They turned up every day without fail at 8am and worked incredibly hard until 6pm. They were polite and nothing was too much trouble.
During the build the site was tidy, so tidy in fact my neighbours commented how impressed they were. They have also said that they have not felt inconvenienced at all by the works.
I feel that Romeo priced the build fairly and we negotiated additional costs along the way. The flexibility of the team helped us to add some further jobs to the original specification.
I have enjoyed arriving home every evening to see the team’s progress. The whole project only took 13 weeks; they have left the house with nothing left for us to do which is fabulous.

REAR EXTENSION WITH STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS AND REFURBISHMENT GROUND FLOOR FLAT , IN HIGHBURY,LONDON AREA

I could not recommend Romeo and his team highly enough. The finish to my flat (a refurbishment including the addition of a second bedroom) is to an exceptional standard, with Romeo taking obvious pride in his work. Romeo was always contactable, I think that during the four month project only one of my many(!) calls went unanswered, and he called me back almost straight away. His team are also wonderful, I think he uses very few contractors so they have a similar commitment to quality that he does. I was consistently impressed to see at least three men on the job whenever I stopped by (and in a small one bed that’s quite a few!). Even the plastering was done by two plasterers, each with an assistant – again, this was exceptional given the small size of the flat. My neighbours have been equally impressed with their work ethic and quality and have hired Romeo for a project on their flat based on their observations. Again, a highly recommended contractor!

Loft Conversions
Before I hired GMC London Builders Ltd for the job I met with Romeo a couple of times to talk through my structural plans and the quality of finish I was expecting. From initial meetings I can see that Romeo takes pride in his work and wants to establish his company as a leading building contractor. I received several quotes through MyBuilder and the GMC quote was reasonable (not the most expensive but also not the cheapest). I also visited two properties that GMC recently completed a loft conversions on and was impressed by the finish and feedback given by the homeowners.
Romeo has a large workforce who do the bulk of the work and only sub-contracts out the electrics and plumbing. The actual building work was completed by Romeo’s team and I was impressed by the speed and quality of their work. They arrived on site each day at 8am and left at 5.30pm with visible progress at the end of each day. There were times where I was not happy with a couple of aspects of the build and Romeo did not hesitate to accommodate the changes even though it meant additional work and materials.
Romeo prides himself on leaving the customer happy and always throwing in a few extra jobs which was the feedback I received from his other jobs. Romeo carried out some additional jobs at no extra charge.
Romeo is genuine guy and it was a pleasure working with him and his team. I would hire him again for future jobs and I would not hesitate to recommend him to family & friends which I have done so already.

LOFT CONVERSION FOR A FIRST FLOOR MASSIONETTE

When I meet Romeo first for loft conversion project , I could clearly make out that he has worked very hard to come so far. He showed professionalism in his approach and never tried to win the customer by overstating the facts. He is very approachable and ensures that any queries raised by his customers are dealt with quickly despite working on multiple projects jobs in parallel having a large team in company that can deliver in according customer request.

GMC London Builders Ltd was responsible for all the job from the beginning and he was providing a good service in terms of deism and planning permission as working with architects for this project. Romeo spent enough time to sure al my concerns were dealt with even thought it was not confirmed that I will eventually hire him for the job.

He quoted a realistic initial price with details enough to help me realize  where all the money is being spent  on. Romeo and GMC London Builders Ltd is company that provide large team of skilled people who deal with all aspects of construction and they provide a high skill of work ranging from team of electricians,plumbers,roofers,decorators and carpenters.

They had been very punctual and never been absent or late at work . Romeo identified flaws with the placing of steel beams and liaised with architect and  building inspector to rectify the design.

Romeo was flexible and allowed me to purchase materials on his behalf since I was very keen in buying a specific brand of insulation and velux windows and did not charge me for extra expenses incurred.

GMC London Builders Ltd exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and finishing of the end of the end product and we are happy to recommend him and the company for anyone that looking for seriously and reputable builders.

STOREY REAR EXTENSION WITH PILING

It has been a very big job and complicate but Romeo has done it exceptionally well. GMC London Builders Ltd done complete 2 storey rear extension with piling structure ,all other work demolition of old extension. The demolition and piling was carried out quickly and to a very professional level from GMC team and with minimum disruption . The construction was carried out sympathetic to the age of the property and final result is fantastic . Blending in very well with existing house. I cannot recommend this company enough as they understood what was required but most of all how we wanted they build completing. Work started on time and every stage was completed to a very high standard with regular involvement of both myself and my wife. The builder made sure at every stage of construction was carried out to deliver the best possible end result. Al the guys from team  were extremely polite and hard working . When problems arose due to no fault of GMC they were fixed without fuss and they never overlooked anything in making sure the high quality of the stage. Unlike many other builders GMC do not use subcontractors and this ensured that the work was continuous trough the project with no breaks waiting for contractors to became available . When more people were required to start the build they were there on site immediately and the work was completed on time within budget and with the minimum disruption and stress which was  fantastic given the size of the job. Thank you GMC  for all your work done to our house and no hesitation to recommend this company to anyone.

LOFT CONVERSION

Having hired GMC London Builders Ltd to build my dormer loft conversion with 2 bedrooms and bathroom,I can’t recommend them enough.Their involvement truly made this a painless experience and the quality of work has resulted in an end result that exceeded my expectations.Romeo and his team met or exceed the benchmark on every aspect of the job. Professionalism, communication, work ethic, quality and attention to detail. DOUBLE & SINGLE STOREY EXTENSION AND INTERNAL & EXTERNAL REFURBISHMENT

Thank you to GMC London Builders Ltd for the fantastic job done on our property. GMC offered and delivered a complete services that included all building works, plumbing and electrical installations ,bathroom& kitchen fitting ,rendering & patio laying and internal decoration.The team successfully delivered our large extension plus significant modifications to the existing house. All the work including redecoration of entire property, was completed with minimum of disruption.

It was a big project ,but skilled personnel,good communication and project management meant the work ran to schedule. HOUSE REFURBISHEMENT AND SIDE EXTENSION

This was a very big job and GMC London Builders Ltd have done it exceptionally well . The team completely renovated the house – starting with the structural alteration ( demolished walls and built new ones ) . They did all the plumbing work and electric work – ( new pipes in the whole house and insulation in the loft ).
The specialist repair the boiler and installed the wireless heating control system . We had three bathroom completely changed – including the layout design change , new plumbing and electric , new mosaic tiles and fitted new sanitary ware .
In terms of decoration , GMC provided high quality finish – the most desired for us .All walls and ceiling were repaired and make nice and smooth , then painted with very good quality paint . The audio system was fitted in ceiling with speakers in master bedroom and en-suite . The team did all the wooden floor in all property , fitted new lights everywhere where we wanted and changed the old lights . They fitted the new kitchen and helped assemble some of the new furniture . We were advised not to change the windows , to save money and offer to change the windows handles and locks – our windows look completely new now and have a smart finish .
I would recommend GMC London Builders Ltd if you need a high quality of finish- they understand and know how to achieve it .
They have been polite and paid attention to our needs in terms of time lines for completion .
